Ingrid Ute Rudolph

Our beloved wife, mother and Oma returned to her Heavenly Father on October 28, 2021 surrounded by family. She was born on April 8, 1937 to Wilhelm and Margarete Henkel in Freiberg, Germany. Ingrid was the second oldest of four children.

At the young age of 20, Ingrid moved to Upstate New York to marry the love of her life, Jacob Rudolph. They were first married on the family farm and later sealed for time and all eternity in the Salt Lake Temple. Together they were blessed with seven children.

She dedicated her life to her family, her religion and serving others. Mom's passion was cooking and baking and her food was always delicious. We will miss her German food especially the rouladen, goulash, sauerkraut, red cabbage and her famous oatmeal brownies. She liked to read, crochet and solve crossword puzzles. Mom really enjoyed dancing. Every year she and dad dressed up in their German attire attending the Octoberfest with all of their friends. She will be deeply missed by all her family, friends and all who knew her. We love you Mom/Oma!

Ingrid is survived by her husband Jacob of 63 years; children Bernd Rudolph, Heidi (Jess) Wilson, Henry (Paul) Rudolph, Esther Rudolph, Hyrum Rudolph, Diane (Yko) de Boer and Lynnae (Jason) Harris; 19 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren; and sister Gisa (Volker) Hagen. Preceded in death by her parents; younger brother and older sister.

A viewing will be held on Friday, November 5th from 6:00 to 8:00 PM at Larkin Sunset Gardens, 1950 E. Dimple Dell Rd. (10600 S.), Sandy. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, November 6th at 12:00 PM at Willowcreek 3rd Ward, 2400 East Alta Canyon Drive, Sandy, with a viewing one hour prior to services.
