Hajrudin "Harry" Jelaskovic

Hajrudin “Harry” Jelaskovic passed away on December 11, 2022, at the age of 59 in Murray, Utah. He was born on March 3, 1963, in Sarajevo, Bosnia Herzegovina to Avdija Jelaskovic and Kadira Bajramovic Jelaskovic. Harry married his sweetheart, Gina Kay Stromberg Jelaskovic on March 5, 2004.

Harry was in the Bosnian Military, and graduated college for engineering, he also earned his United States Citizenship. He loved watching soccer, he enjoyed traveling, fishing, and gambling. Most of all, Harry adored spending time with his family, especially with his grandchildren.

Harry is survived by: his wife, Gina, children Nerim (Ivona), Maya (Mason), Casey, Josee (Andy), and Brandee, siblings: Sutka Oruc (Amir), and Mevluda Oruc (Sead), grandchildren: Lexie, Hayden, Dylan, Kayleb, Emil, Ilan, Noah, Hazel, and several nieces and nephews.

He is preceded in death by his father and mother Avdija and Kadira Jelaskovic, Daughter Irem, father-in-law and mother-in-law Mike and Jaynene Grover, and sister-in-law Teena Bailey.

Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, December 20, 2022, at 11 AM at Memorial Redwood Mortuary and Cemetery 6500 South Redwood Road, West Jordan, Utah 84123. Viewing will be held one-hour prior beginning at 10 AM. Interment will immediately follow at the same location.
