Gwen Davidson

Gwen Davidson, 61, died July 31, 2022, in Rocky Mountain Care on Vine, Murray Utah. She was born August 18, 1960, in Provo, Utah to Myrle A. Austin & Robert W. Davidson (Wally). Gwen attended Eastmont Middle School & Jordan High School in Sandy, Utah. She had one son, who she dearly loved, Steven D. Davidson.

Gwen was a very creative person who loved making ceramics, wreaths, acrylic painting, watercolors, and many other crafts. She loved going to the mountains, Park City, amusement parks and generally having fun with family and friends. She was a very compassionate person, always wanting to help others with whatever they needed especially at their lowest times. She was there to hold their hand and give comfort whenever possible.

Gwen loved all kids, teasing, joking; just saying hello and seeing them smile gave her joy. Even when working at Albertsons Deli she took a minute to make them feel special. But no one meant more to her than her son Steve and her four grandkids Kacey, Caydn, Steven, and Payton.

Unfortunately, Gwen was plagued with an unhealthy body and spent the last 7 years of her life in Rocky Mountain Care Nursing Facility, Murray, Utah where she received the extra medical care she needed. Gwen made a lot of dear friends there, residents and employees alike.

The great people who worked at this facility helped make the last years of her life as fun and comfortable as anyone could. Her family will be eternally grateful to everyone there that helped our greatly loved sister Gwen Davidson.

Gwen is survived by her sisters Lorna Holt, Sharon L Winter (Jeff), son Steve D. Davidson (Ember), grandkids Kacey (Christian), Caydn, Steven, and Payton, an aunt, two nephews and a great granddaughter Opal.

She is preceded in death by her father, mother, brother-in-law, grandparents, uncles, aunt and cousins.

Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Friday, August 19, 2022 at Memorial Mortuary-5850 S. 900 E. Murray, Utah, 84121.
