Our loving mom, aunt, grandma, and great grandma passed away peacefully on November 22nd in West Jordan, Utah surrounded by family. Born Gloria Jean Lloyd on April 17, 1942 in Orem, Utah to Allen and Myrtle Lloyd. The youngest of 10 children. She met her love, Terry Lynn Jeppson through a niece and they began to exchange letters before going on their first date. They eventually married and had 5 children, Teresa (Brian), Debbie (Mark), Eddie (Heather), Delbert (Kris), and Marlene (Brandon). 13 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren. Terry and Gloria were later sealed in the Jordan River Temple on June 21st, 2012. Gloria loved helping Terry when he did his annual Halloween chili bash. At times, they usually had 100+ people. Started preparation 2 days before. She always looked forward to it. Gloria was loved by her kid’s friends due to her joking nature, tasty home-baked food and treats, and her welcoming home. Her door was always open to extended family, neighbors, and friends. Family gatherings was what she loved most. Her thoughts were the more the merrier. She welcomed everyone she met into her life with love. Crocheting was her second passion and she loved giving her items as gifts. It was important to her to share her talents by teaching others and by continually donating blankets, bibs, hats, and burp cloths to local children facilities. After Terry passed away, she became very close to her companion dog, Charlie.

Gloria is preceded in death by her husband Terry, parents, and 7 of her siblings. Anybody that met her, loved her. Her neighbors have stated they will miss her and her green thumb with flowers and her vegetable garden where she shared her harvest with them. She will be greatly missed by all of those who were fortunate to have had her in their lives.

A viewing will be held for friends and family Saturday, November 28, 2020 from 12:30-1:45. Services will be Saturday, November 28, 2020 at 2 p.m. at the West Jordan Mountain Shadows 2nd Ward, 7903 S. 2700 W. in West Jordan, Utah and will also be webcast. Interment at Memorial Redwood Mortuary and Cemetery at 3:30 p.m.
