Gene (Thomas) Reppo passed away on July 23, 2025. He was preceded in death by his mother Cle, father Went, sister Bobbie, and brothers Jimmie, Donnie, and George. He is survived by his wife Donna and numerous nieces and nephews.

He was born on August 13, 1935 in Bonnerdale, Arkansas. Named after his Uncle Thomas Verner. Due to economic circumstances, at the age of 12 he was sent to live with his Uncle where he learned the farming trade. He attended college until the money ran out, served in the Air Force for 4 years, helped build a motel in Maryland, moved West working as a fruit tramp (picker), and ended up in Colorado. He married Donna in 1964 – 61 years of happy marriage. He was athletic, a good horseman, and an honest man.

While in the Rockies he caused Van Howe Ceramics prosper in Denver, built a house in Parker, got into the cattle and ranching business in Parachute, toured the USA in a 5th wheeler, suffered with a vineyard in Eckert, found better air and weather living in a rich man’s subdivision in Christoval, Texas, and then moved to Hurricane, Utah for good breathing, leaving the bugs and hurricanes behind.
