On July 30th, 2022, Gary Campbell Vaughan our father, husband, brother, uncle and friend passed away.
Gary was born in Salt Lake City to Charles Edward Vaughan and Marion Lucille Campbell. On January 9th, 1956, In Pocatello, Idaho Gary married Lenora Mary Robinson. They would spend the next 66 years together.
After working 44 years for McKesson, Gary “retired” – opening his own business, Vaughan Pharmacy Design Professionals Incorporated, continuing to work as a pharmacy design consultant until a few months before his death.
Gary was an avid outdoorsman, sharing his love of fishing and hunting with his sons and grandchildren. He dutifully served his nation in the air force reserves and after military retirement, continued his civic duties through the American Legion Post 178.
Gary was a member of the The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.
Gary is survived by his four children, Gary (Ann) Vaughan, Mike (Lori) Vaughan, Brian (Cathy) Vaughan and Darren (Lorraine) Vaughan. 15 grandchildren, 9 great-grandchildren (and one on the way). Brother Douglas Vaughan, sister-in-law Joanne Tauferner, brother-in-law Jost Madrian as well as several nieces and nephews. Gary is preceded in death by both parents, his sister Judie McCloy, brother-in-law Keith McCloy and sister-in-law Maureen Madrian.
