Died on: 9/7/2023 in Murray, Utah, He was 88 years old.
He was born on 11/20/1934 in Ogden, Utah to Edward Keith and Hortense Cutler Loosli.
He married his amazing wife, Patricia Ellen Wixom in the Salt Lake City Temple on 11/14/1958.
He was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. He served a faithful full-time mission in Sao Paulo, Brazil. After he retired, he also served a senior mission with his loving companion, Patricia in Sao Paulo, Brazil, and the Salt Lake City LDS Employment Center. He loved serving in the church and held many different callings that he always found fulfilling.
Garth had a love of music and enjoyed singing in the ward choir, singing, and listening to music. He loved to whistle, and you could always tell when he was coming by his whistling. Garth liked to ride motorcycles and had 13 at one time.
Garth worked as a computer programmer for the State Board of Education and pioneered many programs that school districts used throughout the State. He also worked at the downtown Salt Lake City Library, which seemed a natural fit as he had a love of reading as well.
Our family would like to thank the incredible staff at Aspen Ridge Rehab Center in Murray and Truwood Senior living Center in Cottonwood Heights for the care they gave to him at the end of his life.
