Fred Larence Gillett

Fred Larence Gillett age 60, passed away on January 7th 2023. He was born on May 7th, 1962 in Park City, Utah to Fred W. and Enid (Street) Gillett.

Fred Graduated from Park City High School class of 1980.He married the love of his life Kathy, on July 20, 1985 after going on a blind date, 37 years of pure love. He enjoyed hunting, camping, family reunions NASCAR, and BYU. He loved spending time with his family and could fix ANYTHING!

He is survived by his wife; Kathy, Children; Joshua Gillett, Justin Gillett, Jami Ertmann (Gillett) and Chris Ertmann (son-in-law), Grandchildren; Ethan, Anthony, Zaiden, Zaniya, Dallen, Jay, and Danica.

He was preceded in death by his parents Fred W. and Enid (Street) Gillett; his brother Steven Gillett; many uncles, aunts, cousins, and friends.

A celebration of life will be held 12:00pm Saturday, January 14th, 2023 at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints Meadow Ward; 1955 West 400 North, Salt Lake City, Utah 84116. A gathering of family and friends will begin at 11:00am, with the service to follow at 12:00pm. Lunch will be served following the service.
