1941-2020

Frank Earl Reedy Jr., 79 passed away at his home on October 10, 2020 surrounded by his loving family.

He was born in Salt Lake City, Utah on July 8, 1941 to Frank and Lauretta Reedy and had three brothers, Don, Robert and Allen.

On May 31, 1958 Frank married Beverly Morris. They were later sealed in the Salt Lake LDS Temple and together they raised five children.

Frank shared the later years in his life with Dorothy Romero and her children who also loved and cared for him.

Frank was the owner of Valley Roofing for 25 years and later a partner in Wasatch Roofing.

Frank was very innovative and enjoyed prospecting and working on projects with friends and family. He loved old westerns, John Wayne, Johnny Cash as well as classical music.

Dad had many stories to tell from days in his youth jumping rail cars to farming and more that many of us enjoyed listening to over coffee or lunch, which he also loved to treat his family to and often.

He was a kind man that took care of many people and many people love him dearly.

Our hearts are deeply saddened we had to say goodbye to our dear dad. We know he is having a wonderful reunion with his parents and brothers as well as his prospecting buddies. We love you dad and as he would say: if I don’t see you sooner, I will see you later.

Frank is survived in death by his children. Beverly (John) Aalders, Frank Reedy III, Jerry (NaDean) Reedy, Jay Reedy, Patty (Troy) Martin, 15 grandchildren and 25 great-grandchildren.

Frank is preceded in Death by his parents; Frank and Lauretta. Brothers; Don, Robert, Allen and former wife Beverly Reedy.
