Francisco Javier Vazquez Almanza

Francisco Javier Vazquez Almanza, age 48, passed away on December 11, 2020, in Salt Lake City, Utah. He was born on November 2, 1972, in Guadalajara, Mexico to Jose Antonio and Marie de la Cruz Vazquez. He married Esperanza Padilla on October 10, 1992. Biking was his passion. Being with family was his favorite. Francisco always had a smile on his face, and was the life of the party. He was also a great grandfather and family man. Francisco loved fishing and camping. His biggest accomplishments and his greatest pride was his kids.

Francisco is survived by his wife of 29 years, 3 daughters, his son, his grandson, and many other family members.

A viewing for Francisco will be held on Sunday, December 20, 2020, from 4:00 PM – 8:00 PM at Memorial Murray Mortuary, 5850 South 900 East, Murray, Utah 84121, and again on Monday, December 21, 2020 from 11:30 AM – 12:00 PM followed by a Funeral Mass at Saints Peter and Catholic Church, 3560 West 3650 South, West Valley City, UT 84119. Interment will take place directly following the Mass at Memorial Redwood Mortuary and Cemetery, 6500 South Redwood Road, West Jordan, Utah 84123.

Following the State of Utah’s mandate on facial coverings, face masks are required at all public gatherings. Social distancing will be enforced. For those unable to attend the services, Memorial Mortuaries and Cemeteries are offering a livestreaming of the funeral service on Zoom.
