Frank was a beloved husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, and friend. He dedicated his life to his family and was happiest helping others in need. He was a devoted member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. He was also a proud member of the American Legion and enjoyed dedicating his time to honor fellow veterans.

Frank served in the United States Air Force during the Korean War, where he was stationed at Tooele when he found the love of his life, Lola LaDawn Ritter; they married on December 27th, 1954, in Idaho Falls, Idaho. Following his service, he settled in Salt Lake City, where he attended school and received his Associate Degree in Electronics; during this time, he enjoyed working at Utah Pickle. He worked for 32 years in civil service for Hill Air Force Base.

Frank had a passion for Scouting and enjoyed spending time outdoors, especially camping and traveling with his family. After the Teton dam broke in '76, Frank spent a vast amount of time assisting with flood cleanup in eastern Idaho until it was completed. He also helped tediously during the flood of ’83, which devastated the town of Farmington, Utah.

He is survived by his loving wife of 69 years, Lola LaDawn Lennartz; his children, Dennis Lennartz, David (Kelly) Lennartz, Cindy (Jon) Marchand, and Mark Lennartz; his granddaughter Josta (Joseph) Lopez, and his great-grandchildren; Zoey & Damien. He will be deeply missed by all who knew him.

Ladawn and Family,

My Dad I were so saddened to hear today of Franks passing.

He was a good, brave man, kind neighbor, and loyal friend. He will always be remembered as our hero who faithfully served his family, community, church and country.

Sending love and prayers for you and your children at this difficult time. We are grateful for our Saviors beautiful and merciful plan, that our separation will be only temporary, and our reunion...glorious!

Frank will be missed! He was always willing to help, and I recall his service with his military friends at my stepfather's funeral, as well as at others. We are thankful for our Savior, and the knowledge we have of His promises, which can be of great comfort to you at this time.

- Sending our love and prayers your way, LaDawn and family.
