Fonua Kihe Hau Naulala Kofutua, age 66, passed away on July 14, 2020 in Bountiful, Utah. He was born on December 2, 1953 in Uiha Haapai, Tonga to Loufusi and Puli Kofutua. He married Losepeli Touhuni Naulala Kofutua on July 24, 1982.

He was a family guy who loved everyone he was around. He opened his home with open and welcoming arms to all family members and friends. He loved landscaping and concrete. He loved to spend most of his time with his family, and especially his grandchildren.

He is survived by his wife, Losepeli Naulala Kofutua, children Lavinia (Viliami) Kofutua Vaka, Fotu (Hanna) Kofutua, Poukei Kofutua, his mother Puliasi Tatafu Kofutua, siblings Maka, Soti, Lavinia Fifita, Mele Havea, Sekope, Saineha. His grandchildren Haidyn Losepeli Kofutua, Kingston Faamasino Kofutua, Bruce Fonua Kofutua, Knox Haiwee-Haynes Kofutua, and many cousins, nieces, and nephews.

He is preceded in death by his father Loufusi Kofutua, Uncle Enele Kofutua, Uncle Afuhia Kofutua, Uncle Sakalaia Kofutua, Aunty Hulita Kofutua Hafoka, his Brothers Timote Muimui Kofutua, Asitamani Kofutua, Tevita Kofutua, Uncle Aminaisi Kioa, Grandfather Filipe Kioa, Brother Valentaine Kioa,Uncle Tevita Kioa, Aunty Lilio Kioa Latu,Aunty Seini Loiloi Kofutua,Aunty Keiti Niutupuivaha, Father inlaw Siope Touhuni, and Mother inlaw Lesieli Lolohea.

Funeral services will be held on Thursday, July 23, 2020 at 12:00 PM with a viewing two hours prior beginning at 10:00 AM. Interment to follow. All services will be held at Memorial Redwood Mortuary and Cemetery 6500 South Saame 23 Veesi 1 Ko Hoku Tauhi a Sihova He Ikai Teu Masiva Redwood Road, West Jordan, Utah 84123.
