He attended Mapusaga High School while at Pesega High School, he met Anna Rosita Stehlin. They later met again while attending college at BYU-Hawaii. On January 21st, 1972 they were married. They then had four children, Tracy, Peninaolemoana, Dino, and Fiatoa before moving to Compton where they were a part of Compton First Ward before the ward split into Long Beach 15th. Shortly after, we were surprised with the final addition Ryon.

In 1990, along with all five of their children, they moved to Utah for better medical care for Tracy. Tracy passed away on November 14, 1995, due to complications with Lupus following a car accident.

In 1995 Fale became part of the SkyWest family. In 2023 he celebrated 25 years of service.

Fale started his love of golf in Hawaii and continued to play throughout his moves to California and Utah. Fale also played cricket. He was active in the Heritage Samoan-speaking wards Elders Quorum Presidency, Bishopric, and eventually the ward clerk. Fale loved working with the ward youth. But just as much as he loved his wife, Anna, Fale loved his grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Fogafalelua Suamatai’a is preceded in death by his son, Tracy Leonard Lokeni. He is survived by his wife, Anna Rosita Stehlin Lokeni, four children: Peninaolemoana Marina Afu (Siaosi), Dino Fogafalelua Lokeni (Jessica), Fiatoa Edmund Lokeni (Shannon), Ryon Jamaal Lokeni (Angelia), 24 grandchildren & four great-grandchildren.

Ofa Lahi Atu, to this amazing guy right here, teaching me the ropes here at SkyWest. I was blessed to learn as much as i can from Fale. With sewing, washing, and replacing items to the aircraft. Its definitely sad to here that you have gone up. I never thought you would leave so early.. Golf courses aren't gonna be the same with you gone. So thank you for always looking out for me an those around you. well miss your smiles, laughs, your character. Till we meet again my friend. Ofa atu Hailame Tuaóne
