With our deepest sorrow we announce that Fernando Ruesga Jr., our beloved son, father, brother, uncle, nephew, cousin, and friend has passed away on Friday, April 8, 2022.

Fernando will be missed everyday by his parents, Melanie (Galindo) and Fernando Ruesga, sisters Alma, Anjelica, Teresa, brothers Christopher, Francisco Jr., and Lorenzo, his children Paris, Azariah, Arsadiah, and baby Ruesga, his grandparents Kathleen and Joe Villagrana, and Fernando Sr., and many loving aunts, uncles, cousins, and his countless number of great friends.

Fernando was preceded in death by his Grandma Sally, great grandparents Timoteo and Tina Salazar, brother-in-law Joshua Perez-Garcia, “Aunt” Geri Villagrana and many more.

Fernando loved shoes, barbering, cars, video games, and both indoor and outdoor sports. Those who knew him knew he loved his kids, loved to dance, laugh, listen to music, and race cars. Fernando left us with so many great memories and will forever be missed.

Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, April 19, 2022, at 11:00 AM with a viewing two hours prior from 9:00 - 11:00 AM at Memorial Redwood Mortuary and Cemetery 6500 South Redwood Road, West Jordan, Utah. An evening viewing will be held on Monday, April 18, 2022, from 6:00 - 8:00 PM at the same location. Interment will follow Fernando’s funeral service at the same location.
