Ernestine Louise Rebeterano, age 60, passed away on January 8, 2022 in Salt Lake City, Utah. She was born November 17, 1961 in Tremonton, Utah to Jennie Martinez and Manuel D. Rebeterano.
She was a licensed practical nurse. Ernestine was an amazing cook, devoted mother, and loving grandmother. She loved to dance and oldies were her favorite. She had a heart of gold and was the world’s best listener. Ernestine was always there whenever you needed her, no matter what!
She is survived by her partner Marcus Carpenter and father of her children Billy McGahee; children Melissa (Orlando) Gallegos, Miguel Gallegos, Matthew (Monica) Gallegos, Misty Mae Norwood, Merecce Jones, Billy and Maranda McGahee, and Jasmine and Michael Dixon; 29 grandchildren, 4 greatgrandchildren, 2 sisters, 5 brothers, and many nieces and nephews.
Ernestine is preceded in death by parents Manuel D. Rebeterano and Jennie M. & Felix Garcia; and siblings Paul, Alex, and Lola Sandoval.
A celebration of life will be held at the Nations for Christ Church, 295 East 200 South, Clearfield, Utah, 84015 on January 14, 2022 from 3:00 – 5:00 PM.
