Eric Glenn Prawitt

It is with heavy hearts that we say goodbye to Eric Glenn Prawitt, brother and friend, due to a sudden, devastating mental illness which overwhelmed him in the last few months of his life.

Eric was born March 20, 1973, into a world with 2 big brothers, Alan and Douglas, who were already 12 and 10 years old. His big brothers meant the whole world to him. Despite having to manage child-onset diabetes, he was a regular 80"s kid who enjoyed Ninja Turtles and video games. As he got older, Eric was influenced by Eastern culture, such as bonsai trees and martial arts. He earned his black belt in 2008. He had a home music studio most of his life and his main calling was in making music.

Eric lived with his mom, Darlene Prawitt, until she passed away. He later met the love of his life, Tracey. Eric received a great deal of support from his cousin and best friend, Jason.

The mystery and tragedy of his last few months can never overshadow the beautiful person he was in life. He leaves behind a legacy of love. Eric is survived by his brother, Alan Prawitt and his partner John Dugan, former partner, Tracey Watts, cousin Jason Dixon, his Uncle Russell and Aunt Jackie Bushnell, as well as other extended family. He was preceded in death by Darlene Bushnell Prawitt and Douglas Lloyd Prawitt.
