Ella Jean Keller, age 94, passed away on September 26, 2021 of natural causes in West Jordan, Utah. She was always known by her middle name, “Jean.”

Jean was born August 14, 1927 in the small farming community of Clifton, Wisconsin to Hazel Gamerdinger Pearsall and Ira Pearsall. She was the eldest of two children. During WWII, she left school early to work various jobs at U.S. Army’s Camp McCoy (now Fort McCoy), Wisconsin. She was the proud owner of a Ford Model A car as a teenager. Three sons were born to them: Ronald Lee Keller (Geri), of North Hudson, Wisconsin; Kirk Jerry Keller (Kris) of Lebanon, Oregon; and Kim David Keller (Brenda) of West Jordan, Utah. She was a homemaker, and enjoyed gardening, taking care of her cats and dogs, and raising her three sons. Jean was able to live in her won home until her recent illness, having never been hospitalized (except for childbirth) before then.

She was a 50+ year resident of West Jordan, and a faithful member of the Jehovah’s Witnesses which she and Ken joined in the early 1960s. They enjoyed a trip to Europe in the 1980s.

Jean was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Ken in 2010, and her brother John of Leesburg, Florida in 2015.

She is survived by her three sons; grandsons Rustin and Dustin Keller, granddaughters Angie Allsop, Courtney West, Jen Stotts; great-grandchildren Mira Keller, Brock Jackman, Max Allsop, Karma and Karli Stotts, Keller West, and sister-in-law Margaret Pearsall.
