I loved serving with Bro. McKell in the Oak Hills 4th Ward Priests Quorum, where each week we would recite Section 4 together, and Bro. McKell would always emphasize his favorite principle: “Remember faith, virtue, knowledge, temperance, patience, brotherly kindness, godliness, charity, humility, DILIGENCE!” His life exemplified the principle of diligence, as well as all other principles of a true disciple of Jesus Christ. He will be missed, but I know he will be anxious to be engaged again in his beloved missionary work on the other side of the veil!
