Edward Laverne Bell, 88, of Riverton, passed away on Monday, November 13, 2023, in West Jordan, Utah. Born on July 5, 1935, in Tucson, Arizona, he was the son of the late Harry and Florence Bell. He is survived by his wife of 65 years, Alice Claudette Bell.

Ed was very talented in woodworking, and he was very proud of his garden. He served the church in many different positions. He was involved in sports, hunting, camping, fishing, and spending time with his family. He never let his deafness limit his abilities.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by children, John (Sherry) Bell, Jane (Brent) Tucker, and Jim (Jenni) Bell, 15 grandchildren, and 32 great-grandchildren.

He was predeceased by his brother, Robert Bell, sister, Joan Roberts, sons Joe and daughter-in-law Josie Bell, and Jack Bell.

A viewing will be held on Monday, November 20, 2023, from 10-11 am at the LDS Church, 6100 South Kamas Drive, Taylorsville, Utah, with a funeral service beginning at 11:00 am.

Interment will follow at Memorial Redwood Cemetery, 6500 South Redwood Road, West Jordan, Utah 84123.
