Duane Ralph Sessions

Duane Ralph Sessions passed away unexpectedly at home in Kearns, Utah on April 8, 2021. He was born in Farmington, Utah on November 26, 1944 to William Richard and Dorothy Mae Davis Sessions. Duane graduated from Skyline High School, and retired from the Salt Lake City Reclamation Plant. He leaves behind a loving family and many friends.

Duane is survived by sons: Kirk (Cindy) Sessions, Brian (Randy) Sessions, and daughters Tammy (Tim) Orton, and Amanda Sessions, grandchildren: Rownan, Bodie, Braden, Britney, Shanaee, Alice, Shilo, Kennedy, Gage, Kirstie, great-grandchidlren: McKenna, Madison, Tyson, Hadley, and Jaelynn, his brothers: Keith (Sharon) Sessions, and Gary Sessions, sister-in-law Venna Sessions, and his two lifelong buddies from High School, Don Michaely and Bill Gillingham.

He is preceded in death by his loving wife, Rickie, his parents, and brother, Bill Sessions.

Services will be held on Saturday, April 17, 2021 at 2:00 PM at Memorial Redwood Mortuary and Cemetery 6500 South Redwood Road, West Jordan, Utah 84123. Viewing will be held prior from 12:00 – 1:45 PM, with interment to follow at the same location. Those attending are invited to dress in casual wear. Masks are not required for attendance. Duane will be laid to rest beside his beloved wife of thirty years, Rickie. Nothing was more important to him than family and Duane never missed a chance to be with them. Always faithful to his family and loyal to his friends, Duane leaves many behind who will never forget the good times.
