Douglas Winston Neiman

Doug Neiman, our loving brother, uncle, and friend, passed away June 3, 2022 at the age of 74.

Doug grew up in Salt Lake City. He lived in Beaver Dam, Arizona at the time of his passing, though he continued to spend frequent time with his family and friends in Salt Lake.

He was a veteran of the United States Navy, where he was active in the submarine service and served aboard the U.S.S. Archerfish.

Doug loved the outdoors and traveling. He had a generous and kind heart and was always willing to help those in need. Doug lived his life to the fullest and was truly a free spirit. He will be missed by all who knew him.

Doug is survived by his sisters, Barbara Neiman Bills (Victor), Nancy Neiman Pavelonis, his brother Brandon Neiman (Rhonda), his nieces, Trice Batty (Russ), Alexandra Reid (Martin), and Micah Masters (Zach), and his nephew Lance Neiman (Laurel). Doug left behind many close friends and his extended family in Beaver Dam and Scenic, Arizona, and his soulmate and travel companion Janet Bitner. He was a great uncle to Victoria Reynolds, Benjamin Becker, Jerry Elise Becker, Molly Rose Dineen, Finn Dineen, and Colton Masters.

He is proceeded in death by his parents, Winston Irving Neiman and Mary Elise Neiman.
