Donald Dwight Smith passed away on August 1, 2023 at his home in Murray, Utah. Donald was born on October 2, 1943 to Harry Smith and Verla Smith in Maddock, North Dakota.

On June 26, 1985 he married Barbara Felton. Donald served his country in the United States Navy where he received specialized training as an air traffic controller. He also worked for Western Airlines in Las Vegas, Nevada.

Donald was a true follower of Christ. He was a member of the Southeast Christian Church. He served as the Missions Ministry Chairman for a 10-year period of time. He was also a Deacon and participated in overseas mission work.

Donald loved spending time with family and spending time outdoors in God’s country. He particularly enjoyed camping and fishing.

Donald is survived by his two sons, Kevin, and Timothy.

He was preceded in death by his wife Barbara, siblings: Clara Gibb, Rosella Vago, Harold Smith, Stella Kostenko, and Deanna Berg.

Funeral services will be held on Monday, August 7, 2023 at 6:00 PM at the Southeast Christian Church located at 1881 East Vine Street in Murray, Utah.
