“Don, it's your turn to fly!”
Don loved birds of prey and because of this love he completed the steps and licensing requirements to have birds of his own. Don went through the process of being an apprentice then moved on to the required five years being a General Falconer showing the necessary expertise in successful hunting and care of birds and experience with more than one species of raptor. After completing the General Falconer program he completed all of the requirements to move into the elite group of Master Falconers of which he held that license for more than 30 years.
He is survived by his wife Judy, his children Wendy Lee and Don Jr., grandchildren; Cody Densley, Nicole Passey and six great grandchildren. Don is also survived by his mother Phyllis Balfour and brother Darin (Bonnie) Balfour along with many nieces and nephews. Don is preceded in death by his father Donald Balfour and brothers Dennis and Douglas Balfour
Don Donated his body to the University of Utah Body Donal program. Celebration of life will be at a later date.
Love and miss you.
