On May 17, 2021, our father, grandfather, brother, uncle, and good friend, Dennis Eugene Kandt, was finally freed from his pain and suffering. He was born on September 19, 1950 to Gilbert Hugo Kandt, Sr. and Dorine Nelson Kandt. Den loved Rose Park, and lived there for 69 of his 70 years, and was still best friends with all the guys and girls he grew up with. He will be remembered partly through his “three G’s”… Golf, Gardening, and Gambling in Wendover. He loved to bowl, camp and party before his lungs would no longer allow it. He had a sweet tooth and never seemed to get enough of his donuts and candy.

At about 20 years old, he learned how to lay carpet and linoleum from his brother-in-law, and that’s what he did most of his life.

Dennis is survived by his son, Denny Duke (Angel), grandchildren Celese, Raden, and Carissa, and their mother, Deja Lopez, his brother, Gilbert (Bonnie), sister Carol (Alan) Farr, many nieces and nephews, and his close friends Kevin Conrad and Kenny Moyes. He was preceded in death by his parents.

We will miss you, Den. Rest in Peace. At his request, there will be no services.
