Dennis William Bramble, age 75, left his earthly journey October 28, 2022, in West Jordan, Utah to be with our Lord and Savior.

Born on August 15, 1947, to Alfred “Woody” and Melba Bramble in Ogden, Utah. He was the seventh son of seven sons with one sister.

After graduating Ogden High School, he attended Utah State University and served his country as a U.S. Marine in Vietnam.

From a previous marriage he was blessed with a son, Chad. He was proud of his son for achieving two master’s degrees and for marrying his lovely wife Mutsumi.

Dennis married the love of his life, Jody. He was always so proud that out of all of the bees that surrounded her, she chose him. Together they enjoyed cruises, going to Europe, and traveling in their fifth wheel. He was an avid reader and always had a book or two going.

He retired from the United States Postal Service after 33 years. He made many friends along his routes. For 7 years, he volunteered many hours managing the food pantry for St. Joseph the Worker making a huge impact in so many lives. He was also instrumental in starting up horseshoe games at the church festivals for many to enjoy.

No words can express how much he was loved and will be missed.

He is survived by his devoted wife of 39 years Josephine (Jody) Martellaro; son: Chad (Mutsumi); step-children: Tim Torres, Shelby (Chad) Allred; brothers: Ray (Marcia), Dale (Ann), Joe; sister: Carolyn; brother-in-law: Gabby Lopez and their families. 5 Grandchildren, 10 Great Grandchildren, 2.5 Great Great Grandchildren. As well as his best friend “pain in the ass” fur baby: Bella.

Preceded in death by his parents “Woody” and Melba and his brothers Norman and Glen.

A special thank you to all the wonderful caregivers at the V.A. Hospital and most recently Jordan Valley.

In lieu of flowers, please make a donation to the Veteran’s Hospital.
