Delano Saxton Findlay age 86; last survivor of Ralph and Lillian Findlay left this life for the last round up on June 4,2020. Born on December 18,1933 in Bear Lake Idaho. Served an honorable mission to the Western States, for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. Del attended BYU and the University of Utah where he graduated with his Law degree. He Married Kay Betts on June 25, 1959 and had four wonderful children. Later divorced. He married Julia Ann Bywater Dunfield December 27, 1994 and gained 6 more wonderful children. Del loved singing old music such as Gene Autrie and Marty Robbins. He also loved watching any old movies, especially John Wayne. He loved and served this country! Del flew fixed wings and cobra helicopters for the Utah National Guard for over 15 years. Del enjoyed singing and dancing with Julia. He also loved riding horses and writing poetry. Del loved and adored his family!

Del is survived by his wife Julia, children Kris Findlay, David (Cynthia) Findlay, Steven (Janet) Findlay, Ali Swensen, Kelly (William) Pettersson, Marc (Jamie) Dunfield, Jon (Michelle) Dunfield, Didi (Brian) Weaver, Marykay (Brandon) Thain and Holli (Spencer) Pratt. His beloved grandchildren and great grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his former spouse, parents, siblings and nieces and nephews.

We will see you again little rascal!

A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, June 9th at 2:30 PM at Memorial Mortuary 3115 East 7800 South Cottonwood Heights, Utah. A staggered social distancing viewing will be held prior at 1:30 PM. Graveside service will be Live-Streamed via Zoom:
