Deborah Paterson, age 60, passed away on November 7, 2021 in Salt Lake City, Utah. She was born on June 15, 1961 in Mayfield, Utah to Charles and Tess Paterson.

Her hobbies included her great cooking skills, her OCD that kept everything very clean. She loved to Help with anything for everyone. She loved to camp. She was old school with knowledge of sewing and crocheting, puzzles and more. Debbie was always highly motivated with everything she done. Even being married two times she was still the main supporter of everything her kids needed which at times required her to work 3 jobs. That was always one of her greatest accomplishments was raising her 3 kids mostly by herself. Also she was never satisfied with her level of Education and was extremely proud to finish and graduate from Kaplan University. She took great pride in being involved with her grandchildren and always wanted to help them.

She is survived by Jessica and Brandon Shurtz and children Christopher Ronald Bennett, Jesse Jon Schippers, Ethan Shurtz, Abigail Tess Shurtz and Great grandchild Drake Peck. Kevin D. Bennett Jr. and Heather Sharee Bennett and children Aiden Duane Bennett, Ashten Charles Bennett and Adalyn Sharee Bennett. Tyler Meryl Bennett. Brothers: Kendall Peterson and wife Kathy Peterson, Les Peterson and wife Becky Peterson, Jim Paterson. Sister-in-law Cheryl Peterson and sister Annie Taylor.

She is preceded in death by her Father, Charles Paterson, her Mother, Tess Sorensen Paterson, and brothers, Gary Peterson and Allan Peterson.

A viewing will be held on Friday, November 19, 2021, from 12:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Memorial Redwood Mortuary located at 6500 South Redwood Road in West Jordan, Utah.
