Dawn Laree Andrews

Dawn Laree Andrews passed away at her home at the age of 52 on October 23, 2021 in West Valley City, Utah. She was born on January 24, 1969 in Salt Lake City, Utah to Leo “Floyd” Andrews and Sandy Anderson.

Dawn’s greatest accomplishment was raising her two sons, CJ and Andy. She loved watching her grandchildren and had many great experiences with them. She was so very proud of them all and told them as much as she could. Dawn was an amazing friend to all. Once she claimed you, she supported you forever. She was the type of person that listened so well, many people would come to her as a confidante and for advice. Her favorite pastime was watching her Pittsburg Steelers win games and laughing at her kids when they beat their teams.

Dawn is survived by her two sons: Casey (Krystyn) Mace, Andy (Brianna) Mace, her mother: Sandy (Gary) Peterson, her grandchildren: Hayleigh and Ashtyn, her brothers: Junior (Teresa) Andrews, and Elvis (Kodie) Andrews. There are also many nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts, uncles, and dear friends she leaves behind – including her adoring companion dog, Ginger.

She is preceded in death by her father: Leo Floyd Andrews, her grandparents, her brother in law Kodie, her ex husband Casey and other family & friends she adored. They are all together now watching over us.

A public viewing will be held on Thursday, November 4, 2021 from 12:00 – 4:00 PM at Memorial Redwood Mortuary and Cemetery 6500 South Redwood Road, West Jordan, Utah 84123.
