David "Dopey" Martinez

David “Dopey” Martinez, age 34, passed away on March 27, 2021 in Salt Lake City, Utah. He was born on October 12, 1986 in Los Angeles, California to Emilio Adan Martinez and Rosa Gutierrez. He became a father of Cesar Leodamian Martinez on September 3, 2009.

He enjoyed cars, animals, fishing, ceviche, music, drawing, he received his Automotive Technician Certificate from WyoTech and he was the best dad that he could be.

David is survived by his son, Cesar Leodamian Martinez.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, April 3, 2021 at 1:00 pm at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, Granite Ward, located at 3219 South 300 East, Salt Lake City, Utah.

Following the State of Utah’s mandate on facial coverings, face masks are required at all public gatherings. Social distancing will be enforced. For those unable to attend the services, Memorial Mortuaries and Cemeteries are offering a livestreaming of the funeral service on Zoom.
