David NaVon Hansen

David NaVon Hansen passed away surrounded by his family February 12, 2024.

David was born in Price, Utah to a family named Dore’, July 6, 1944. At the age of 8, David was adopted by Richard and Hazel Hansen. David was raised in Kerns, Utah and sealed for time and eternity to his Hansen family.

He served in the Army during the Vietnam Conflict from 1965 to 1967.

On September 20, 1968, he married his eternal companion Kristine Rodeback in the Salt Lake Utah Temple. David and Kris had four children: Jason, Janna (Richard Winter), Jeremy (Leslie), Jessica (Greg Anderson). David has 9 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren. He is also survived by many siblings.

David was a hard worker and a friend to many. He was constantly looking for opportunities to serve his neighbors, friends, and ward family. As his circle of family and friends grew so did his heart to love others. David will be missed by many in Salt Lake and Washington, Utah.

He is now in the loving arms of his Savior, and brother Jesus along with his parents, two brothers, one sister, grandchildren, and great grandchildren.

He is gone fishin’ and given out those great big, really tight hugs he loved to give as you entered or left his presence. We love you, Dave!!! “After awhile crocodile, but not tonight satellite!

There will be a visitation on Friday, February 16, 2024, from 5:00 – 7:00 pm at Spilsbury Mortuary, 110 S. Bluff Street, St. George, Utah. A second viewing will be on Saturday, February 17, 2024, at 9:00 am followed by the funeral service at 10:00 am at Spilsbury Mortuary.

Interment will be in the Washington City Cemetery, 300 Park View Drive, Washington, Utah on Saturday, February 17, 2024, at 11:30 am.
