Cuong Van Nguyen, born on September 20, 1965, in Vung Tau, Vietnam, left this world on July 30, 2023 in Salt Lake City, Utah. He was the beloved child of Duong Van Nguyen and Sinh Tai Phan. His passing leaves a void in the hearts of all who knew him.

During his high school years at Highland high school, Cuong showcased his athletic skills as the kicker for the football team. He nurtured a lifelong passion for sports, particularly the excitement of watching the Utes play.

Cuong's true happiness found its roots in family bonds. He adored spending quality time with his loved ones. weather it was fishing, camping or tending to his beautiful garden. Among his many talents, Cuong shined most when he was cooking. From Vietnamese cuisine to American, Cuong loved to make delicious meals for those he loved.

In recent years, He married Linh Gia Nguyen in his home country of Vietnam. His memory lives on in the hearts of his cherished son, Jonathan Nguyen and his beloved daughters, Tiffany and Tina Nguyen. Cuong also leaves behind his caring sister, Thuy and his brothers Son, Hai, Lam and Tai.

As we mourn the loss of a dear soul, let us also celebrate the joy and happiness that Cuong brought into our lives. His vibrant spirit and kind-hearted nature will be forever remembered. May he rest in peace.

Join us in celebrating Cuong on Wednesday August 2, 2023 at 1:00 pm at Redwood Memorial mortuary and cemetery, 6500 South Redwood Road in West Jordan. A viewing will be held at 11:00 am.
