Semper Fidelis

CPL Andres “Andy” Jose Orozco passed away on May 29, 2021 in Campo, California at the age of 21. He was born on April 11, 2000 in American Fork, Utah to Shannon Black Stec and Domingo Orozco. Andy married his High School sweetheart, Rayn Joyce Johnson on July 22, 2018.

Andy enjoyed spending time with his friends and family. His favorite pastimes were working on cars, and going on hikes, as well as many other adventures with his sweetheart. A favorite hobby of his was playing online video games with friends and family. Andy became a member of the United States Marine Corps on his 18th birthday. Instead of attending his high school graduation, Andy was courageously making his way to become a US Marine in boot camp.

Andy was loved by all who knew him; he could put a smile on your face when you were at your worst. He had a big and cheesy sense of humor, and a laugh that was contagious! He was a stellar Young Man, who was chasing his dreams and creating his own path in life. He was a proud and energetic US Marine, with the sand to serve his country defending our freedoms and way of life. He was off chasing his dreams the night of his passing. He had found a motorcycle that he had so long to throw a leg over and learn to ride. He and a fellow Marine were returning to base with the bike, when the accident occurred.

Andy, you will always be loved and you will never be forgotten. God Speed, my son.

Andy is survived by his loving wife, Rayn Joyce Orozco, his momma bear Shannon Black Stec along with his step-father Bradley Stec, his father Domingo Orozco, brothers CJ, Colby, and Nathan, along with several other siblings, family, and friends.

He is preceded in death by his partner in crime Markus Padilla, his Great Grandmas: Mirl G. Miller and Alice Johnson), nephew baby Jeremiah, and he and his wife’s two angel babies.
