Courtney Amber Wagstaff Brady

Jun 18, 1993 Feb 12, 2021

Courtney passed away on February 12, 2021 due to complications from endocarditis at IMC.

Anyone who had the pleasure of meeting her knows she had a muchness about her like no other person. Goofy, eccentric, loving, kind, stubborn, tell it how it is, and unique. She would do anything to make people laugh. Whether it was her impression of Count Olaf's Trex from Lemony Snicket or drawing a mustache on her face and sticking runts up her nose, she loved to make people laugh. It was always a guessing game what color her hair would be when you saw her next. And as grandpa Lasher always told her, she was full of mud. Although she battled her demons, her heart and soul never changed. As she would say, "My muchness has gone on a adventure without me and I need to find it." She will always be remembered as the weirdo who loved to see others smile and laugh. Our family extends their gratitude to the amazing teams at Intermountain Medical Center for their kindness, love and support they provided to Courtney.

In the garden of memory, in the palace of dreams, that is where you and I shall meet. -Mad Hatter

Courtney was welcomed to the next life by her father, Kevin Wagstaff, grandfather Gerald Lasher and countless other family, friends and pets who passed before her. She is survived by her children Addy, Oakley, Katie and Jayson. Mother Barbara Lasher, siblings Amanda Wagstaff, Chauntel (Jake) Easter, Tyler Wagstaff, Grandparents Marlene Lasher-Butzen, Keith and Kathy Wagstaff. Niece Rylee Easter, Nephews Jackson Easter and Michael Valenti. Countless Aunts, Uncles and Cousins.

A memorial celebration of life will take place in the summer of 2021 to comply with Covid regulations.

We ask that people who knew her, please share your favorite memory of her when she made you laugh, giggle or pee your pants here. Visit it when you are missing her and smile at the beautiful gift she gave the world.

In lieu of flowers please either donate to help kids in local foster care system via Together We Rise, Intermountain Medical Center or pay it forward and make someone smile and laugh.
