Our beloved wife, mother, sister, grandmother, aunt and friend passed away on October 23rd, 2021, due to the complications of diabetes.

She was born in Ogden, Weber County, Utah to Franklin DeWayne Croxford and Clara Mae Wilson in the McKay-Dee Hospital.

She is survived by Dale Vaughn Evans, her husband of fifty plus years, and five children: Chad (Tracie), Nathan (Britany), Wendy Wolfgramm (Gary), Jill Andersen (Josh), and Aaron. She has twelve grandchildren: Davis Evans, Nikolasi Wolfgramm, Elsie Wolfgramm, Dominic Andersen, Emili Wolfgramm, Damon Evans, Everett Andersen, Siena Evans, Owen Evans, London Andersen, Jax Evans and Nash Evans, whom she loves dearly.

She is also survived by her dear sister: Claramae Croxford Grieve (Paul “Pete”, deceased).

Her beloved brother Marty DeWayne Croxford proceeded her in death. He is survived by wife Margaret Hunter Croxford.

She was a life-long member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. She was married in the Salt Lake Temple on February 5th, 1971. She served in many callings and enjoyed serving others. She selflessly gave of her time and substance to many people. She was an excellent seamstress and sewed clothes for her children and provided baby blankets filled with love for her children and grandchildren.

In 1967 she graduated from Clearfield High School and received the Crisco Award as an “Outstanding Homemaker”. She attended Weber State College until she married. She studied nursing and elementary education.

In August of 1972 she and Dale moved to Germany where her two oldest children were born, returning to Utah in 1975. Corlene worked for the telephone company as an operator and in their Small Business Sales Office for 33 years. She had kidney failure due to diabetes and received a transplant in 2008.

The funeral service will be held on Friday, October 29th at 8136 S. Old Bingham Hwy, West Jordan, Ut, 84088. The family will greet those who wish to express condolences in the north foyer from 11:15 to 12:00. Services will begin at 12:00. Interment to follow services at the Salt Lake City Cemetery. 200 N St E, Salt Lake City, Ut, 84103.
