Cooper Lee Daines

Mar 14, 2005 Apr 26, 2024

Cooper Lee Daines was born on March 14, 2005 and passed away in an automobile accident on April 26th, 2024. Cooper lived in Salt Lake City, Park City and Peoa, Utah and was most recently living his best life as a freshman in the Honors Dorm at Northern Arizona University. He was in the combined 5-year bachelor’s/master’s program in forestry and was working in the lab of his Mother’s former advisor at NAU (mom & dad both alums), which felt like a perfect circle had been completed.

Cooper was a truly beautiful human, inside and out. Everyone who knew him loved him, and he is already desperately missed. He had an amazing sense of style and loved thrifting with his friends. He loved (loud) music, gaming and playing games with his friends. He was a connector and participator and was always up for something fun. He is survived by his Mother, Father, older Brother, step-Father, Grammy and Grampy, step-Brother and step-Sisters, Aunts and Uncles, 2 dogs and 2 cats, and a ridiculously large circle of friends.

We will be celebrating Cooper’s life with a gathering on June 1 and everyone who loved Cooper is welcome, just please RSVP on the invitation so we make sure we have enough food and drink (https://www.punchbowl.com/parties/4260a91e8c7be96c7e3c). In lieu of flowers, we have set up a donation portal at the Nuzzles & Co. animal shelter (nuzzlesandco.org/cooper).
