Connie Kimball Peacock, a beloved daughter of God, passed away peacefully on March 23, 2026, in St. George, Utah, surrounded by family.

She was born December 5, 1936, in Salt Lake City, Utah, to John Coulam Kimball and Lois McGhie Kimball, the eldest of their children. She was preceded in death by her husband, Richard Marlow "Dick" Peacock, Jr.; her daughter, Kristie Linn Toone; her parents; her sister Kara Lee; son-in-law Marty Nelson; and other beloved family members. She is survived by her children, Kathie (Steven) Terry, Richard M. (Debby) Peacock, and Karen Nelson; her son-in-law, Tyrrell Toone; her siblings, Mickey Kimball and JoAnnie Moore; and many extended family members whom she loved dearly.

From a young age, Connie was creative, disciplined, and quietly determined. She dreamed of becoming a ballet dancer and had begun training en pointe before an injury changed her path, though it never diminished her love of beauty and creativity.

Connie was known for her strong work ethic and resourcefulness. As a young woman, she worked to buy her own clothing, later purchasing a sewing machine and making handmade outfits for her children, including Sunday clothes, pajamas, and even doll clothes. Her home was filled with warmth and tradition-homemade bread, scones, cookies, and other treats were regular expressions of care, often shared during family evenings spent watching movies together.

On February 7, 1956, Connie married Richard Marlow "Dick" Peacock, Jr. in Austin, Texas, while he was serving in the United States Air Force. They were later sealed in the Salt Lake Temple.

She built a successful career in banking, beginning at Valley State Bank and rising through dedication and skill to leadership roles, including management and vice president positions with Union Valley Bank and Bank One. Despite her professional accomplishments, Connie considered her greatest achievement to be her children and the family she raised.

Connie had a testimony of Jesus Christ and remained connected to her faith throughout her life. She served in church callings, including as a Gospel Doctrine teacher, a role she loved and prepared for carefully. Prayer was an important part of her faith and her relationship with the Savior.

Connie was a grandmother to many, and her presence in the lives of her grandchildren reflected the different seasons and circumstances of her life. In earlier years, she created traditions, shared her talents, and showed love through the things she made and the time she gave. Over time, her connection with each grandchild looked different, but her love for all of her family remained constant.

She loved the years she and Dick lived at the cabin in Pine Mountain. It was a place where her family gathered often-snowmobiling and sledding in the winter, and fishing, exploring, and riding ATVs in the summer. Holidays were spent there around the fire, playing pool, doing crafts, and cooking. It was a place where family time was lively and filled with memorable moments.

Connie had a lifelong love of books and filled her home with them, reading each one and generously sharing them with others. She also created scrapbooks that preserved treasured family memories.

She was soft-spoken, kind, and consistently described as someone who always had a warm smile.

The family extends heartfelt gratitude to her dear friends, neighbors, and ministering brothers and sisters, especially Barbara and Keith Benson, Brent and Ramona McAllister, Claire Gemmill and Scoop and Cori Smith for their love and friendship and Southgate Assisted Living and Zion's Way Hospice for their devoted care.

Her legacy continues through the families of Kathie and Steven Terry, Richard and Debby Peacock, Karen and Marty Nelson, and Kristie and Tyrrell Toone.
