Clista (Cris) Young

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our mother, Clista (Cris) Young, 95. She passed away Tuesday, September 14th, 2021.

Clista was born to Franklin Earl and Emma Christensen Colby, August 03rd, 1926 in Cleveland, Utah.

She was married to William (Bill) Young who preceded her in death January 31st, 1987. They were later sealed in the Salt Lake City Temple for time and eternity.

Clista (Cris) is survived by daughters, Lou(Terry) Gardner Enterprise, Utah and Judy (Ron) Torres Riverton, Utah. (7) grandchildren, (6) great-grandchildren, (9) great-great-grandchildren, (1) great-great-great-grandchild. (6) generations of her prosperity. Sisters, ArLeah Westley, and Terril Campbell, Salt Lake City, Utah. (5) nieces (2) nephews.

Preceded in death by parents, husband, great-granddaughter, McKenzie Gardner, and brother-in-law.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday, September 28th, 2021 at 2:00 PM with viewing prior to services 12:00 PM to 1:45 PM at Memorial Redwood Mortuary and Cemetery, 6500 South Redwood Road, West Jordan, UT. Interment will be at Memorial Redwood Cemetery following the services.
