Cheryle Ann Wells King, age 75, died January 1, 2024, in Salt Lake City, UT. She was born August 19, 1948, in Salt Lake City, UT, to Kenneth and Margaret Davies Wells. She married Jerry King August 6, 1971, and later divorced February 11, 1997.

Cheryle was a gem of a human and the most loving mom, grandma, sister, aunt, and friend. She loved her parents’ cabin, the outdoors, crafting, birds, sunsets, and sunrises. Cheryle was patient and generous with those she called family, including friends and even strangers.

She loved her children very much and would do just about anything for them. Cheryle lived with her mom (and Zippy the Cat) the last ten years of her mom’s life, providing companionship and a watchful eye. We will miss her.

Cheryle is survived by children, Jennifer Stevens, Jeremy (Kelly) King; her grandson, Daniel (“DJ”) King; siblings, Susan (Greg) Burton, Stan (Barbara) Wells, Les (Chris) Wells, and Cindy Hayes; many cousins, nieces, and nephews. Preceded in death by her parents, Kenneth and Margaret Wells, a handful of aunts and uncles, as well as many friends. We hope her friends and family are having a party with her in heaven, giving her all the sweets she can eat and all the Coca-Cola she can drink!

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, January 6, 2024, at 11:00 AM with viewing one hour prior at Memorial Murray Mortuary, 5850 South 900 East, Murray, Utah.

Interment will be held on Monday, January 8, 2024, at 10:00 AM at Memorial Redwood Mortuary and Cemetery, 6500 South Redwood Road, West Jordan, Utah.
