Cheryl Corde King, age 73, was found at home October 2, 2021 in Sandy, Utah. She was born on January 20, 1948 in San Francisco, California.
She lived in Freemont, California from 1977 – 2015 then moved to Utah. Cheryl was an excellent water skier, snow skier, hiker, and scuba diver. She scuba dived in Mexico and many other places; it was one of her passions. She would water ski and camp all summer long! Boating and traveling were some of her other favorite things to do. Cheryl would often visit the Hot Air Balloon Festival in New Mexico, visiting many times. Nursing was an important part of her life, working in the ICU at the Washington Hospital in Freemont, California – her career spanned 25 years. Above all, Cheryl loved her dogs (Samoyeds were her favorite breed) – She owned two Samoyeds, King 1 and King 2, who went with her everywhere. Cheryl’s life revolved around her dogs, accommodating them any way she could.
Cheryl is survived by her daughter Nicole Wintch (Brent), son Aaron Pierce (Bi Hong), and grandchildren Jordan, Camilla, Dante, and Xander.
She is preceded in death by her parents Robert and Donna Stott and her beloved uncle and aunt William and Ethlene Philips.
