The world lost a shining light on October 13, 2021, when Cheryl Hansen passed away. Born on March 7, 1962, to Carol and Harold Lovelace in Westfield, Massachusetts, raised in Granville, Massachusetts, she then made her way to Utah to raise her family and build her community.

She lived a life full of service and love. Cheryl touched many lives as she worked for TURN Community Services for 33 years and 10 months. She volunteered hundreds of hours to helping others in the community. Cheryl was an advocate and spared nothing to make sure those who she loved had everything they needed. She was inspiring and cared deeply for her family and friends. Cheryl became a Grandma in 2018 and loved nothing more than to spend time with her first Grandson and best friend, Wesson Ward. She was blessed again in July 2021 with two more grandchildren, a boy and girl, Kaede Hansen and Skylar Ward.

If you ever had a chance to meet her, you know what kind of woman Cheryl was. She left a mark wherever she went and continues to do so.

Cheryl is survived by her husband Stephen Hansen, their children and spouses: Christopher Hansen, Emily Hansen, Samantha Ward, Cameron Ward, and Tannyn Person. Cheryl is also survived by her mother Carol Lovelace-Mozden and siblings Mark Lovelace, David Lovelace, Laurie Lish and Rebecca Rainey as well as her nieces, nephews, extended family and close friends who will continue to carry her in their hearts and will continue to inspire many as her memory lives on.

Please join us as we honor her life on Monday, October 25th at 2:00 pm at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, 240 Interlochen Ln, Stansbury Park, Utah 84074. Friends are invited to greet the family during a viewing from 12:30 to 1:30pm. Burial services will be held for her family only, on Tuesday the 26th, in Lago, Idaho.

Cheryl’s family would like instead of flower donations, to please help carry on her legacy by donating or volunteering to TURN Community Services
