It is with a sad heart that I announce the passing of my step-father Charles Earl Prisk on December 25, 2019 from natural causes. Earl was born Aug 22, 1933 in Salt Lake City, Utah, to the proud parents of Charles Leander Prisk and Martha Culp with a brother Glenn Prisk born a few years later. Early in his life, Earl volunteered with the Community Policing Program and served many years with the Salt Lake PD. Then was hired by the Salt Lake Airport Police Authority (Not TSA - as Earl would distinguish) where he earned many awards. One award in particular Earl was credited for saving a women's life by performing CPR until paramedics arrived. During his years of service with the SLPD and Airport Authority, Earl met and performed security details to many VIP's including Gov Reagan, the Princess of Greece, Muhammed Ali and others.
Earl was a member of the Freemason Fraternity, and rose to the high rank of Grand Master in 1976.
While working at the airport he met and later married the love of his life, Christine Prisk and spent 20+ years with her (1996 - 2019). He is survived by his wife Christine Prisk, his brother Glenn Prisk (Erika), his two children, Roger Prisk (Eileen) and LeeAnn Castro and his three step children, Emily Morrow (Kenny Morrow), Greg Moore (Jill Moore), Geoff Moore (Jamie Porter). Plus his three grandchildren and numerous great grandchildren.
There will be a Celebration of Life / Memorial Service held in his honor at the Masonic Temple on January 18th at 1pm. The Masonic Temple is located at 650 E South Temple, Salt Lake City, Utah.
Rest in Peace
