Charles Earl Prisk AKA Big Earl - Big E. Born Aug 22, 1933, the oldest of two sons born to Martha H Culp & Charles Leander (Lee) Prisk, has passed away on Dec 25, 2019 in Salt Lake City, Ut (86 yrs old) due to heart complications.

Earl graduated from East Highschool Class of 1951, then University of Utah for 2 years of Pharmacy.

Earl married Marylyn Milar in 1955. They had two beautiful children, Roger and LeeAnn. They divorced years later, but have remained friendly. Earl was employed most of his early life in the family pharmacy business - Prescription Pharmacy Boston Building - Medical Arts Pharmacy Medical Arts Building until being sold in 1976.

While working at the pharmacy, he helped organize & participated in the SLC Police Reserve Program and the Citizen Observation Program (COPS). Earl then managed a service station and then Western Paper Co. He was then employed by the SLC International Airport Authority as an Operations Officer. This then became Airport Police Dept (NOT TSA). He was looked on as fair to all & as a cuddly bear.

It was here that Earl met and later married the love of his life, Christine Recksiek and her three children as though they were his - Emily, Greg & Geoff.

When Earl retired in 1998 he wanted a Cadillac or a Town Car, instead he got a power chair. He said he didn't know whether he was disabled or handicapped. He just knew he was disappointed. After his retirement he worked still at the Airport for the Utah Visitor's and Info Desk until 2007.

The oldest Past Grand Master (1976). During all this time, he was very active in all areas of Masonry. M.C. Demolay, Chevalier, Legion of Honor- P.A.G. Jobs daughter Bethel #19-32 degree Scottish Rite - El Kalah Shrine - P.P OES #5 - P.M. Kaibab Lodge #25 (1967) York Rite Red Cross - P.GR. High Priest - P.GR. Illustrious Master (1982) - P.GR. Commander (1978) P.G. Master of Masons - 1976 Bicentennial.

Earl loved Hunting, traveling, old cars, and looking forward to shopping. He is preceded in death by both parents. He is survived by by his beautiful and devoted wife who also took upon the responsibility as his care giver for many years, his brother Glenn Prisk (Erika), his two children, Roger Prisk (Eileen) and LeeAnn Castro and his three step children, Emily Morrow (Kenny Morrow), Greg Moore (Jill Moore), Geoff Moore (Jamie Porter). Plus his three grandchildren, a nephew and numerous great grandchildren.

Earl requested Cremation & his ashes disposed of at a later time. A Masonic Memorial was held in his honor Sat January 18th at the Masonic Temple. Member of the First Methodist Church. In lieu of flowers, which only last a short time, please make a donation which lasts forever to the Transportation Fund at Shriner's Children Hospital - Fairfax & Virginia St. SLC Ut 84103. Remembering - A person stands so tall when they bend down and support a child.
