Cesar Martinez

Cesar Martinez was born on September 14, 1947 in Guatemala City, Guatemala to Felipa Martinez. He was married to Haydee Martinez, and together they had three children; Cynthia, William and Alison, along with five grandchildren.

Our father immigrated from Guatemala forty seven years ago with his wife to start a new life in the United States. He came with a dream for a better life. He had many jobs, the most important being at Mountain Fuel (now Questar). He worked there for 25+ years painting gas meters. Our father enjoyed watching the latest movies and loved lifting weights. He enjoyed the latest new cars and especially loved his grandchildren. He loved his caffeine free Pepsi and coffee. He loved his jewelry and looking good! He loved our mother’s cooking, especially the Christmas tamales.

He was a strong father until the very end, always finding ways to make sure he was debt free.

We will never forget him and all the things we knew about him.

He passed away in peace surrounded by his grandchildren and loving family.
