Carrie Elaine Nielsen

Jun 16, 1965 Nov 5, 2023

Carrie Elaine (Glaubensklee) Nielsen was born in Pueblo Colorado June 16, 1965, to Jimmy and Marlene (Hall) Glaubensklee. She grew up and lived in the Salt Lake City area and married Martin Nielsen and they had two beautiful children, Brittany, and Christopher, and later divorced.

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of this sweet, loving soul who departed from this world, November 5, 2023, after her very courageous battle of breast cancer. Carrie cherished her children and was very proud of them. Her grandchildren were her pride and joy. She adored her nieces and nephews. She loved her family 'to the moon and back'.

Carrie will be remembered for her quick-witted sense of humor that she inherited from her dad. She learned the trucking life with Lyle Wilson, later meeting Sky Merryweather while being a flagger for the highway dept. They enjoyed many years together until his passing. She loved their time together. Carrie worked as a manager at Family Dollar then as a cashier at Chevron where she was loved by her employees and many customers. Carrie will be deeply missed by all that knew her, especially her family who will miss her forever. Her Family would like to thank the Valeo home and hospice staff for their constant care and kindness to Carrie in her last days.

She is survived by her mother Marlene, daughter Brittany and son Christopher, and her granddaughters Athalie, Audree and Makenzee, her siblings Eric( (DeAnn), James (Katie), HallLee (Justin) and Summer.

She is preceded in death by her father Jim, brother Todd, brother William, Aunt Carolyn, nephew Kelly, and granddaughter Analise.
