Goodbye dear family and friends. My journey through life has been the best and I thank you all for sharing it with me. I was born on January 4th, 1933 to Hyrum Clessimore and Vera Sanders Crockett. My three brothers Richard, David and Jay and I grew up in Hayward California where we attended the local schools and enjoyed life in a small farming community.
I attended Stanford University for two years and finished my degree at the University of Utah, where I met Dan, the love of my life. We were married on April 9, 1955 in the Stanford Chapel. Our three children, Jill (Cory) Webster, Jann (Joey) Williams and John (Julie Marsden) are the greatest gifts parents could ever ask for. Our 10 grandchildren and 20 great grandchildren . . . priceless! In 1970 Dan built a cabin at Bear Lake. We would load up the kids, dogs, friends etc. and spend summers in Garden City waterskiing, swimming and enjoying raspberry milk shakes. In the winter we would ski and enjoy life in Park City. In 1986 we bought a home in Litchfield Park, Arizona and wintered there, playing golf and leaving the snow behind. In 2000 Dan decided a log home was in our future so he designed and built it alongside the Smith Morehouse River in Oakley, Utah. What a perfect and beautiful retreat for our golden years.
To my bridge buddies, golfing pals, Delta Gamma sisters, Jr. League coworkers, walking friends and family, thanks for the memories! Adios
