Carol Mae Wright Palfreyman passed away September 20th 2023 at her home in Kaysville, Utah with family by her side. Born August 7th 1933 to Marjorie and Melbourne Wright in Ogden Utah. Raised in Salt Lake City, Utah. Graduated East High School in SLC class of 1951. On February 5th 1953 Carol married the love of her life Leslie (Les) Palfreyman in the LDS temple in Salt Lake City.

As a young lady Carol enjoyed working at Mountain Bell telephone. After starting her family Carol took her talent and love of sewing to launch a career making draperies, where she was able stay at home to raise her family as well having a career she loved for 49 years. Carol loved raising her 4 sons more than anything in the world. She also loved the many dogs that came into her life, they brought such a smile and warm feeling to her. Those dogs loved her right back knowing that they were safe when they were with her.

Les and Carol lived a short time in Las Vegas where their first son (Mark) was born. Returning to Salt Lake City before moving to Kaysville, Utah in 1965. Les took a Job in Phoenix, Az in 1984. In 2010 Les and Carol returned to Kaysville where they could be cared for by their loving son Alan and daughter in law Dawna in their later years.

Carol is preceded in death by her mother, Marjory; father, Melbourne; husband, Leslie; brothers, Bob and Melbourne; son, Mark; and infant son Randy. Survived by daughter in law Carolyn; sons Scott (Diane), Alan (Dawna), Rob (Victoria); 6 grandchildren, 4 great grandchildren; brother Dennis; sister Marilyn(Ann).

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, October 7, 2023 at 11 AM with viewing held prior at 9:30 - 10:45 AM at Holbrook Mortuary 3251 South 2300 East, Millcreek, Utah. Evening viewing will be held on Friday, October 6, 2023 from 6:00 - 8:00 PM at the same location. Interment will follow at Wasatch Lawn Memorial Park 3401 South Highland Drive, Millcreek, Utah.
