Bruce McBlain Hall

Sep 18, 1958 Jun 22, 2021

I’M TAKING THE SCENIC ROUTE...

Bruce McBlain Hall, age 62, passed away peacefully with his family by his side Tuesday June 22, 2021 due to natural causes from a major stroke he had 4 years ago.

Bruce was born Sept. 18, 1958 in Ogden, Utah to Hugh Orville Hall and Beverly Thomson. He had 3 siblings, Ronald (Merilyn) Hall, Christine (Eugene) Sorensen, Tami (Brian) Crookston. Growing up Bruce and his family moved around to multiple states ending up in Utah again. As he was growing up, he would scrounge wood from the nearby fields to build go-carts. Bruce graduated from Cottonwood High School in 1977. He married Patsy Connelley on Aug. 29, 1981. Together they had 2 children Alex McBlain (Stephanie) Hall, and Brandi Michelle Hall. There are 3 grandchildren. And 22 nieces and nephews. He is proceeded in death by his parents, grandparents and 1 nephew.

Bruce loved to be creative and build things. Lots of things, BIG things... We would tease him that he always built things the size of the “Taj Mahal”. He did not go to school to become an architect; however, he was able to draw plans as if he had gone to school for it. He drew plans for a high school teachers’ cabin, and many of his creative ideas that would turn into a “Taj Mahal” project.

Bruce wanted a viewing/celebration of life which will be at the Redwood Memorial Mortuary on 6500 S. Redwood Road, Friday June 25th, 2021 from 6pm to 8pm.

We would like to thank the Intermountain Home Health Staff and Intermountain Hospice Staff for their assistance with him in the last few weeks.
