Brian "Savage" Scott Sharp

Jun 8, 1971 Feb 21, 2025

Our brother and father, Brian Scott "Savage" Sharp, 53, passed away the night of February 21st, 2025, in Salt Lake City, UT. He is known as a cherished friend for many and was often willing to help his loved ones when he could.

Brian was born on June 8, 1971, to his parents Stephen Carl Sharp and Emily Jean Sharp (Hughes). He was the eldest sibling of four and they all had a love for fishing. Brian never passed up the chance for a barbeque at home for his birthday every year to invite over his long-standing friendships that meant a lot to him. He would take trips out of state to visit his friends as well.

Brian had found a community around him through music and became an administrative ambassador on Facebook for his favorite band. He made so many more friends online that he chatted with often and was welcoming to any that needed a place to stay the night during tour travels. Brian loved going to concerts with his friends and seeing his favorite artists play live.

The most positive thing you could say about Brian would be his passion and effort towards a plan and also his love for his pets. He always endorsed the music he was a fan of and acted his best whenever he was working on a home improvement project. Creating a beautiful front yard out of the wake of a burst pipe or fixing up the back patio enclosure to make a "catio" and putting up hand-made cat trees and shelves in his home.

It was a highlight for him to spend time watching a TV show or movie with his family and to have long conversations with his mother. Brian had worked at the same company for over 20 years. His skill and merit will be irreplaceable.

Brian will be remembered by his daughter, Yasmine, and his wife, Temara. His mother, Jean, his brothers: Jason (Mindee), Kevin (Marci), and Adam (Valarie), and his nieces and nephews.

Brian is preceded in death by his father, Stephen Sharp.
