She made sure all of her children learned a musical instrument and would regularly put on Christmas programs for neighbors and the community. She was a virtuoso pianist, accompanying many choirs including the performance of Handel’s Messiah with her church choir.

Brenda’s love of travel grew when touring Israel and Europe after her LDS mission. She wanted her family to experience travel. With her husband Claude they took the family on numerous trips both domestic and international.

Brenda was actively involved in her community. She was involved with Toys for Tots, CERT, 4H, and local political delegations, as well as many other service opportunities. She continually looked for opportunities to serve and be involved.
