Brenda Campbell- age 59- died peacefully surrounded by her family on September 18,2021. She was a devoted mother to 5 children, an amazing grandma to 13 grandchildren and the best dog mom to her lucky furbabies. She loved dogs more than most things in this world and had a wonderful career in dog training for the past 22 years. Through her career she volunteered with Search and Rescue and made many lifelong friends that brought so much joy to her life. Brenda LOVED spending time with the people and the dogs in her life. She loved her weekend walks with her “pack” and dinners with her friends and family. She was an amazing cook and loved making meals for family events and Holidays. She always went above and beyond for every birthday and Holiday and knew how to make each person feel special. She was so fun to be around and had a contagious laugh that would draw you to her naturally happy personality. Her positive outlook on life made everyone love her. She was truly one of a kind.

Brenda is survived by her children Kim (Mark) Burrows, Kally (Tyler) Richman, Chris (Alecia) Campbell, Curtis (Karla) Campbell, Kyle (Micayla) Campbell. 12 grandchildren, brother Larry (Petra), foster mom Beverly, and many friends and family members that have loved her through the years.

She is preceded in death by her dad (Art), mom(Jeri),foster dad (Frank) and granddaughter (Riley).

We would like to send a special thanks to her doctors at Utah Cancer Center. Dr.Nibley and Anita guided us through this journey with kindness and helped us with so many difficult decisions. It was an absolute honor for us to care for her and we appreciate all of the help they gave us.

She has asked that dogs be welcome at her graveside service (on leash) and if you’d like to share a memory or anything about her at the service then we encourage you to do so. She would absolutely love that.

A graveside service will be held on Monday, September 27, 2021 at 10:00 AM with a viewing one hour prior at Memorial Redwood Mortuary and Cemetery 6500 South Redwood Road, West Jordan, Utah 84123. I last spoke with Brenda June 15 2021 and told her about our move from Utah. We met Brenda when we bought two English White Golden Retrievers and she helped us through the years of training them back in 2017, she had a special gift and tremendous amount of love and patience with animals. She was a good friend. I was so shocked to hear of her news when she told me she wasn't doing well and had to move in with her daughters to care for her. I know she is at peace now and not in pain anymore. I'm certain her family is caring for the new white retriever she owned, I will never forget how excited and happy she was when she got the puppy she sent pictures to us and was so happy. Rest in peace my dear friend, we will never forget you and I know Harley and Charley won't forget you either, they absolutely adored you and we did too!

I just saw this today and it breaks my heart. We loved Brenda! We met her almost 14 years ago while shopping with our new puppy, Bogart at Petsmart. She approached us and quickly identified his breed and invited us to her classes. That began a 12 and a half year friendship and amazing training sessions with Bogart, and later, Bacall. Brenda was always so thoughtful and cared deeply about the dogs she trained and their people. I’m sure my boy Bogart ran to greet you when entered Heaven, thank you for being you, Brenda.

We're very sorry to hear of Brenda's passing. Brenda's friendship with us was amazing! She loved all of us so much! She trained our dog, Fred, at Petsmart and she came on a few camping trips with us and was great company. She will be missed a lot.

Brenda was a true dog whisperer. She trained Winnie and Pooh Bear (our two pomeranians) only a few times, but they picked it up immediately. They retain those lessons to this day. As I mentioned on the timeline, Brenda also was a caring person to others. When I needed help while my husband was in the ICU out of state back in 2017, she went the extra mile to help us out so that we did not worry about Winnie and Pooh. Her kindness with people and pets was extraordinary. She is certainly loved. I am sure that she is also loving all of the people and pets on the other side now:)xoxo.

I learned so much from you about dogs. Your calm and kind demeanor always drew dogs and people to you like a magnet. I loved it when my dogs would see you and immediately sit down in front of you. Even a pat on the head or a smile from you if you were super busy and they were so happy! Thank you! You really touched my life.

Brenda was so helpful when I needed help while my husband was sick. She went the extra mile to help with our fur babies. To this day, her amazing dog whisperer techniques work with Winnie&Pooh Bear. Her kindness with all was extraordinary.
