He worked most of his career at IML Freight and Yellow Freight as a mechanic.

Bill loved to go hunting, fishing, camping, boating, and spending time with his family. He enjoyed spending time mechanically restoring farm tractors and equipment. He also enjoyed gardening and raising alfalfa to feed his cattle. He always had a family milk cow and raised many other farm animals.

Bill had a big smile, was friendly, and was always up for a good conversation. He was willing to help his neighbors and family with welding, mechanic work, and general projects. Any old tractors he found, he would drag home and tinker on them.

He is survived by his children, Debra Coulter, Suzanne (Ray) Lancaster, Randall (Judy) Coulter, Bryan (Kim) Coulter, David (Shari) Coulter, and Mark (Amy) Coulter; and many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Joyce Grogan Coulter.

The family would like to give a special thanks to the staff at Sagewood at Daybreak for their care and kindness.

Dear Coulter Family, We were very sorry to hear about grandpa Coulter's passing. I loved seeing him in McDonalds with his friends, and at Walmart visiting with people. He will be missed. Love to all

I have wonderful memories of uncle Bill. His smile that warmed your heart. A fantastic southern way of speaking and it came with a great laugh!

Bill was my favorite uncle.

Death takes the body. God takes the soul. Our mind holds the memories!
